Christian Louboutin... shoes... have I enticed you yet?

As I'm sure a lot of you have already heard, the Christian Louboutin exhibition opened yesterday, in London. It is being held at the design Museum and celebrates the extensive twenty-year career of Louboutin. The exhibition showcases his shoes, hanging from hoola hoops attached to the ceiling and displayed on funfair carousels. There is even a three-dimensional hologram of Dita Von Teese, a loyal friend to Louboutin, as a burlesque dancer, which morphs from a stiletto to perform a dance on stage! Visitors also get a unique insight into his design process-from initial drawing to factory production.
The exhibition has been described as, "A magical journey of style, glamour, power, femininity and elegance," and looking at pictures from the exhibition, it might just be that!
The launch of the exhibition was held on the 30th April and 'the man of the moment', Christian Louboutin, was there himself, and wearing some very flamboyant red trousers. (He's obviously a man who has jumped on the bandwagon of the coloured trousers trend, this spring).
The exhibition looks like it is a lot of fun, and is a must-see for any Louboutin fans. It showcases his shoes and designs, but gives some insight into his life as well. It is already looking like it will be one of the biggest fashion exhibitions of this spring and summer, and I personally cannot wait to see it.
So, will you guys be rushing to London to see the myriad of red-soled shoes that await? Or, would you rather watch paint dry? Tell me in the comments.
